Club 400 is the longest operating bar in Waukesha, dating back to when it was started in 1948 by the father and brother of guitar legend and Waukesha native Les Paul. Named after the Chicago Northwestern train “400” that stopped across the street at the depot, the Club was host to Les Paul and Mary Ford when they played their guitars together for the first time at the grand opening. Club 400 has a limited menu of Wings and Friday Fish Fry, and is a hangout for Carroll University (College) students and alumni of all ages. Stop on in to check the variety of Les Paul memorabilia on the walls.
