The City of Waukesha will be providing a brush pick-up opportunity next week for our neighborhood, on garbage day.

Pile branches, up to 3 inches in diameter and 6 feet long, on the terrace (the area between the sidewalk and the street) by 7:00 a.m. Branches and brush should be neatly piled with all butt ends in the same direction. Tie small amounts of brush in bundles, not more than 6 feet in length or more than 40 pounds. Do not put in bags, boxes or trash containers. Small twigs and branches less than 18 inches in length are considered yard waste and will not be collected. Residents are allowed to start setting branches and brush on the terrace beginning April 25th.

Residents will be allowed to drop off brush and branches at the Drop-Off Center, 750 Sentry Drive at no cost on Wednesday, May 7th and on Saturday, May 10th.

Please be mindful of your neighbors. Piling brush into the street is prohibited by City Ordinance 6.05 (5), as well, burning of leaves or other debris is also prohibited by the City Ordinance 21.04 (3) (d).

Note: This is the only brush collection for the year.
